PRINTING
LenticularPromotions.com
is the first company in the industry to combine all three
lenticular printing technologies: web offset, sheet-fed, and
stereo embossing. These 3 printing and manufacturing methods
offer the ability to create lenticular products appropriate
for any end use.
Web
Offset – Rolls of 24" wide paper are printed 4 over
4 at high speeds, and then laminated to rolls of lenticular
material and sheeted. Fifth and sixth PMS colors are also
available. The finished paper and plastic product features
high quality imagery, and can be finished into numerous
hand-held promotional products. Some of the industry’s
largest volume lenticular projects have taken advantage of
this process’ quality / value combination.
Sheet-fed
– Lenticular sheets, up to 28"x 40" are printed on
UV presses, direct to the back of the lenticular material.
Mounted materials or additional coats of white can be added
for opacity, or the sheets can be back printed up to 4 color
process. This finished product can stand up better to the
elements than web offset products, and is ideal for larger
applications such as posters and point-of-purchase signage.
Stereo
Embossed – Substrates including paper, styrene, and
pressure-sensitive adhesive are printed on sheet fed presses.
The sheets are then coated with a heat-activated adhesive,
mounted to a flat plastic film, and then passed through an
engraving cylinder. The cylinder embosses the lenticular lens
shape into the top surface of the plastic film. This process
is ideal for large economical runs, and is especially
efficient for styrene products, such as lenticular credit
cards or food-safe items, and for adhesive-backed items.
